These Terms of Use apply to njhomeenergysavings.com (the “Site”), operated by SS Technologies as NJ Home Energy Savings (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the Site, you agree to these terms.

What we do

We connect New Jersey homeowners with home energy professionals. For solar, we connect homeowners with Spectacular Solar, a licensed New Jersey solar installer. We are not an installer, contractor, lender, or utility, and we do not sell or install solar systems. Any quote, contract, financing, or installation is solely between you and the installer.

Estimates

The instant estimate on the Site projects what your electric bills could add up to over time, based on the bill range you choose and the assumptions stated on the page. It is an illustration, not a quote, and not a promise of solar savings. Actual savings depend on your home and are confirmed by the installer.

Compensation

We may be paid by Spectacular Solar when we refer a homeowner. Using the Site costs you nothing.

No obligation and no guarantees

Using the Site is free and does not obligate you to buy anything. Information on the Site is general and for informational purposes only. Savings, incentives, and program eligibility depend on your home, energy use, utility, and program rules, which can change. We do not guarantee any savings, incentive, eligibility, or that an installer will offer you service.

Your information and consent

You agree to provide accurate information about yourself and that you are at least 18 years old. If you check the consent box on a form, you agree to be contacted as described in that consent text. Consent is not a condition of purchase, and you can opt out at any time as explained in our Privacy Policy.

Third parties

We are not responsible for the products, services, statements, or conduct of the installer or any other third party, or for third-party websites linked from the Site.

Acceptable use

Do not submit false information, submit information about another person without their permission, or try to disrupt or misuse the Site.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Site is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or from any dealings with a third party.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
